Traditionally, this is where I:
- Try to convince you that we are a high flying company with many employees, when in reality we are a small home-based business (trust me I’ve seen this one);
- Baffle you with meaningless marketing ploys;
- Continue the hard sell without giving you any feel for who we are and what we stand for; or
- Talk to you in my own words about us.
Think I’ll go with the last option.
A really wise piece of advice is to find something that you really love doing, and then get paid for doing it. I have three main loves. I love technology, being creative and helping people.
In my former working life, I was always the first to put their hand up for any new technology. I also ended up being the one that had to go and solve other people’s computer/software/internet woes. I progressed from serving customers, to staff trainer then manager. I was always happiest helping both customers and staff be their best.
I bring this experience with me to the table.
Like most of us, I have started a small business to earn a living doing something that I love and am passionate about.
Triremis is a Canberra based business. What I want to do is give you, the micro and small business owner in the region the opportunity to have an affordable internet presence. I want to see how my business can help yours.
